Is this you?

Do any of these situations sound familiar?

  • Running at 110%. Everyone (and, more often than not, you!) is working in overdrive. There’s entirely too much to do and not enough time to do it in. You’re afraid of burnout for yourself or losing good people.
  • No time to think or plan. You know that investing in ways to improve yourselves and your business is important. But you find there’s no time for it because you’re too busy working on current, critical tasks and projects. Even then if feels like you are slipping.
  • Raw nerves exposed.Emotions are running high among your team members. People are on the edge; even the normally even-tempered people are showing signs of stress. Camaraderie and even friendship amongst the team members have been replaced with, at best, distant civility. No one is having fun. And it shows both here, at work, and at home.
  • Low or no morale. People have checked out. They are going through the motions. And it shows in performance numbers; steady declines mount and no amount of coaxing, pleading, pushing, demanding, or motivating seems to work. It’s like banging your head against a wall and your head’s worried because there’s no end in sight.
  • Holding the fort? With all that needs to get done, if you don’t do it, it won’t happen. And the more you have to do, the less you can focus on the big picture things, and the more your dreams seem to slip away.
  • This can’t last. Your dreams and goals are in jeopardy. If you can’t make this work, you’ll have to shrink the organization to a previously manageable size (or shut it down) and let die your dream of making an impact in the world. Ouch.

The approach works for:

  • Senior executives and business owners
  • Directors and managers
  • Team leaders and their teams
  • People in small and medium sized organizations.
  • People in large organizations, too.

This approach will work for you if you have the following values:

  • You really want to make an impact, make a difference in the market and the world.
  • You know you and your organization have the potential to make that impact.
  • You invest in things that strengthen and sustain you and your company.
  • You appreciate the practical.
  • You are open to new thinking and approaches that deliver.
